The Social Register recently hosted an outrageous “Island Getaway” event for its Society Singles members at the fabulous home of member Sandra Marnell. Upon their arrival at this playful event, Society Singles members and their guests were greeted by Clair and Michael Zeto, The Social Register’s President and CEO, then whisked poolside to sip luscious piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris while indulging in the authentic island cuisine of renowned Chef Robert Gartz.
Highlights of the event’s menu included such delicacies as island spiced crab salad, peppered Ahi tuna, Jamaican shrimp salad, Martinique smoked salmon pinwheels, Aruban ribeye steak, chargrilled Freeport chicken, Atlantic Ocean fresh Orange Roughy and tropical Key Lime and lemon meringue pies! Society Singles members and their guests had an incredible time dancing to the rhythmic sounds of a live Caribbean steel drum band, and thoroughly enjoyed meeting and playing with so many wonderful professional singles here in our community.
Social Register member Alice Bergendorf and Canyon Ranch Spa graciously donated disposable cameras that were given out to each member for their use throughout the evening in capturing playfully candid photos of other members and guests. Adding to the fun of this event were some fabulous door prizes that were presented to lucky members and guests with the winning numbers. Prizes included such items as complimentary lunches for two at Rosemary’s Restaurant and dinner for two at the elegant gourmet room, Ristorante Italiano, donated by Chef Gartz and the Riviera Hotel.
Society Singles is a division of The Social Register of Las
Vegas that was specifically designed to meet the needs of The
Social Register’s single members, who number more than 450

residents and celebrities of the Las Vegas community. The Social
Register orchestrates approximately 24 events per year for its

Night Out” events, Ladies Social events and Society Singles
