Anywhere But Here,"
a comedy-drama about the evolving relationship between a mother and daughter trying to
make a new life for themselves in Beverly Hills after leaving Bay City, Wisconsin,
starring Susan Sarandon and Natalie Portman.
Adele (Sarandon) gets a job as a speech therapist with the
L.A. Unified School District; Ann (Portman) is enrolled in Beverly Hills High School,
which to Adele is her daughter’s ticket to a better future. Throughout, Adele and Ann
have their differences - and their fights. Adele the dreamer, always looking to be
‘anywhere but here,’ Ann (the daughter), seeing things for what they are,
sometimes more the mother than the daughter."The Insider"
"The Insider" stars Al Pacino, Russell Crowe, Christopher Plummer and Rip Torn.
Jeffrey Wigand (Russell Crowe) was a central witness in the
lawsuits filed by 50 states against the tobacco industry, which eventually were settled
for $246 billion. Wigand was a top scientist and the ultimate insider at Brown &
Williamson. He was the first-ever to go public. Lowell Bergman, (Al Pacino) investigative
reporter and "60 Minutes" producer, mostly Mike Wallace (Christopher Plummer)
segments, arranged a legal defense for Wigand and taped the famous Wallace interview.
However, "60 Minutes" was canceled and Wigand would find himself sued, targeted
in a national smear campaign, divorced and facing possible incarceration.

to Mt. Zion, Wisconsin, aboard his ’66 John Deere tractor. Alvin encounters a number
of strangers, from a teenage runaway to a fellow World War II veteran. Alvin has a
profound impact on these characters that color his pilgrimage. Sissy Spacek plays
